Tiger Woods – Hitting the Links Again after His Accident

Tiger Woods is hitting the links again after a remarkable recovery. He was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash in L.A. on February 23rd.

He is doing physical therapy and has been known to “push himself” to accomplish more. Wood’s commitment to his children – Charlie (12) and Sam (14) is “pushing him to heal”, says a source. “Tiger lives for his kids. Being a dad has helped him stay focused on his recovery. He is a fighter and has been determined to get better.”

Woods (45) sustained significant injuries to his right leg during the devastating crash. Now eight months after the accident, he was seen walking without a limp in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

The former number 1 has been almost completely out of public view in the last eight months since he crashed the rental SUV he was driving at high speed in the early morning of Feb. 23rd, about 30 miles southwest of Los Angeles. His right leg was broken in multiple places and his right ankle was crushed, requiring multiple surgeries with steel rods and pins to put him back together.

Woods was in Port St. Lucie for his son Charlie’s junior golf event. He was wearing a sleeve on his right leg and golf clothes on the range with a club in his hand.

Several doctors wondered if he would ever walk normally again. Many onlookers have decided that his golf career is over. However, Tiger Woods did once win a U.S. Open on a broken leg. If he feels strong, healthy, and optimistic, he may be able to return to the tour.
