Famed fashion stylist Law Roach spurred Zendaya and Tom Holland marriage rumors during the 2026 Actor Awards after saying the couple officially tied the knot this March. While neither of the Spider-Man actors confirmed or denied the rumors, it wouldn’t be surprising considering the pair has been together for almost a decade. A healthy Zendaya and Tom Holland marriage would also be a testament to the power of sobriety, as Holland has claimed to be sober from alcohol since January 2022.
Tom Holland Marriage After Relationship Turmoil
Unfortunately for Holland, his past drinking led to issues with his relationships, family, work, and even liver problems, according to his doctor. It wasn’t until he decided to do a Dry January challenge in 2022 that the young Romeo and Juliet actor realized he was more tied to alcohol than he originally thought. In an October 2024 Rich Roll Podcast interview, he admitted that after a year of sobriety, he vowed to never go back to drinking as he now experienced being the “best version” of himself.
Now, over four years later, it makes sense that a Zendaya and Tom Holland marriage would be in the works. The actor said that he noticed being sober helped him not only sleep better, but also handle stressful situations better. For those who do continue to heavily drink, it can lead to negative relationship satisfaction and marital issues.
Sobriety and Future For Holland
Quitting alcohol has not only helped strengthen his relationships, but has also helped Holland launch an entire new career as co-owner of BERO, a non-alcoholic beer brand that has surprisingly good reviews from users. Launched in 2023, BERO continues to release new items ranging from wine adjacent drinks to Near Beer that contains less than 0.5% Alc/Vol, clothing, lifestyle merchandise, and more.
As for the new Zendaya and Tom Holland marriage, it’s just one of many bright sides of Holland’s recovery. His star role as Spider-Man continues in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, scheduled to be released in theaters on July 31 of this year.
